This black-and-white film, with an occasional colour insert, is set in and around the move from the old library to a new one under construction. Three characters are followed: photo restorer Jorge, who tries to develop a long-hidden photo; librarian Gloria, Neyder, a young construction worker. The occasionally mysterious form of The Tower leaves a lot open for interpretation. While the calmly moving camera glides lovingly through the building, time and light pass. The result is a brave and poetic attempt to keep history alive.
