Having lived most of my adult life in global megacities, I've seen firsthand the amazing ability they have to bring people together and allow our collective potential to flourish, but I've also witnessed the incredible strain they place on resources and the natural environment. As we look forward to a future in which more of us choose to live in megacities, it is vital that we design them to be sustainable and conducive to our well-being.
